Hi! I am Tamara Lemon.
Watching my mom organize her basement and kitchen cabinets, reading books and magazine articles on organizing and “practicing” in my own home for the past 38 years was the inspiration for Tamara Lemon, A Fresh Take on Organization.
After many years of working as a counselor, assisting those in transitional times of life, I discovered there are functional and emotional benefits to being organized.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Radford University and a Masters in Education from the University of Lynchburg. After a 30 year successful career in counseling I wanted to get out of the office environment and do what I enjoy-organizing! My favorite organizing tools are wired shelves that can double space and the challenge of using baskets that homeowners often have. I love working with people and seeing the satisfaction and smiles coming from a job completed. Since life is not all work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, boating, reading and worshipping at Calvary Baptist Church.
